The SKLOGC CEO receives the Business Permit Certificate from Mayor Ferdinand ‘Andy’ Guerrero Agduma. Witnessing the event is Hon. Norhato P. Sanday, President of the Association of Barangay Council (ABC) of Lambayong. Both the Sangguniang Bayan of Lambayong and the ABC gave Exclusive Rights to SKLOGC to explore and produce crude oil and natural gas in Lambayong.

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Sultan Kudarat also granted Priority Rights to SKLOGC. Lambayong is the site of the famous Gansing, Tukanakuden and Lagao Wells.

SKLOGC in its DOE approved Work Program shall endeavor to drill one well in Gansing on the second semester of 2021. God willing on the later part of 2022 or early 2023, we will be producing oil and gas in Gansing. Depending on the actual volume of the reservoir, we hope to produce gas powered electricity on 2024 or 2025.

Our objective is to locate the estimated 3.4 Trillion Cubic Feet (TCF) natural gas deposit in Lambayong and Isulan, Sultan Kudarat as reported by our Chief Geologist. If we are successful, Sultan Kudarat would replace the dwindling Malampaya gas as the 3.4 TCF is the same quantity of natural gas deposit in the Malampaya-Camago gasfield that would be exhausted in 2024.

A short trivia: Mayor Andy is the grandson of the great Mayor Jose Guerrero, the Mayor of Lambayong when the JV exploration team of Anglo-Maremco found oil and gas in Gansing in 1962 but experienced
severe drilling difficulty because of the high pressure and limited rig drilling equipment.

SKLOGC hopes to fulfill the 60-year old dream of the late Mayor
Guerrero to successfully produce petroleum in Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat.
